Induction technology has been used in professional kitchens for many years, but is relatively new to the domestic scene. The first brand to introduce induction to range cooking was the always-innovative Stoves, who launched their Sterling 1100E model in 2007.

Falcon have announced the imminent arrival of an all electric version of their new 900S model, a dual fuel version of which was launched in September 2008. The launch of the Falcon 900S caused quite a stir, with its clever ESP energy saving panel able to divide the oven down from a huge 106 litre capacity into two smaller cavities for everyday use. In either guise, the oven is A-rated for energy efficiency, but a smaller space obviously heats up more quickly and operates more efficiently than a large one! Read More...

AGA subsidiary Falcon have announced the arrival of the Falcon 900 Single Cavity Induction range cooker, an all electric version of their new single cavity model, a dual fuel version of which was launched in September 2008.
